Joe Donnelly, the Liberal Democrat from South Bend, nearby Chicago and Obama's home, has repeatedly made claims that he is "moderate" or "middle of the road" Democrat. The problem with that statement is that it isn't true.

And in one way, we can understand that because when the question of the Constitution came up, he said he leaves that to the experts. The problem is, he took an oath to defend and preserve it. To abide by it, and yet he votes for bills that are not covered under the the provisions of the Constitution. The problem with the Constitution isn't it, the problem is Joe Donnelly.

When asked how he would vote on Obamacare in relation to abortion he claims he consistently opposed abortion and government funded abortion. And yet, he voted for it.

Donnelly voted for Obamacare, when even his constituents knew it was a death knell for Medicare, and healthcare in general, plus a huge deficit problem. But he still voted for it.

Donnelly claimed you could keep your heathcare plan, but you can't. And even so, he voted for Obamacare. In effect,  he gave your healthcare plan to Obama and the government.

Joe Donnelly has been supporting government funding of wind energy from taxpayer money, an un-Constitutional use. Taking taxes to promote a business is not included in the powers granted in the Constitution. And does he have any clue about whether it is a good idea? No.

And Joe Donnelly fully approved the Stimulus bill, of which funding nonsense like the City Bus windmills in Lafayette. Sure, one might think they were neat and cool, but will they every pay off like he promised? No. Not ever. Donnelly wasted more money on this one small (by comparison to the enormous size of the entire Stimulus bill)....more that the amount he claims Mourdock "wasted" defending over 200 year of contract law, teachers and police pensions, and stability of the bond markets. The thing is, you are not wasting anything defending what is right, but you sure can on things not Constitutional.

The truth is that Joe Donnelly says one thing in Indiana, giving a far different impression that the actual voting he does in Washington DC where he follows the Pelosi, Reid, and Obama mantra line for line.

Sure, there is more. But at this point can't we at least ask Joe Donnelly to do the one thing he said he wanted to do? Yes, he wants to go home and watch Bonanza. From what we have seen above, that might be the only thing he can get right. So let's help Joe Donnelly and send him home to watch Bonanza!!! Vote Richard Mourdock and retire Joe Donnelly.

John Gregg risks injury and life for "Rainy Day"

Yes, John Gregg, an apparent hater of the Constitutionalist Tea Party movement as he ended his part in the debate tonight is a Democrat. These same Democrats that like to regulate the death out of you and me and our businesses. And yet, they don't care to follow their own regulations.

I grew up on a farm back when the safety equipment was minimal on machinery. But safety is really a state of mind, and way of doing things, thinking ahead about the consequences and the costs.

However, the Democrats have been regulation "happy" with all the various programs they get their bureacrats assigned to, such as OSHA.

But what did he say he would do? We will get to that. But I know I searched for a good company to work for, with good benefits, and decent pay. A lot of people do that. And they also prepare for that job by getting a good education, investing in their future with all the "right moves". Oh, that has gotten tougher because of the high tuition prices. But with all that hard work, where have we ended up now?

Well again, Joe Donnelly's constituents know more that he does on virtually any subject. And this one is no different.

Now let's look at some examples close to home. Spurred on by a claim by one Liberal that wind energy is fantastic, pays for itself, and more we decided to expound on the subject. And ironically, start with the very project that was claimed to be so exemplary of the wind energy paradigm by that same liberal: City Bus.

Specifically, the project is the wind turbine system in mind belongs to Lafayette City Bus in Lafayette Indiana. The website is http://northernpower.kiosk-view.com/citybus and has a running view of total generated electricity plus status of each of the three turbines. Ostensibly, the purpose of the turbine system was to charge the hybrid buses and provide power for the offices. Construction was funded by the stimulus program that Joe Donnelly voted for.

That stimulus money approved by Joe Donnelly amounted to $2.18 million dollars according to news reports:

First let's go back and review some background. The founders met together many times, wrote many well reasoned papers (the Federalist Papers etc.), and debated in order to create a new republic, of the people and for the people. One essence of this process was the creation of a “civil society”, one where people were well behaved toward each other. After all, that was the basis of their entire discussion. These gentlemen were well educated, and civil toward each other, even while having disagreements on various points. And overall, they were quite successful in doing so.

The RATM Chronicles - Vol 1

In our last examination of twitter feeds, we discussed the falsity expressed by @mattcsantor and others on the topic of "My way or the Highway". This time lets change direction a bit and examine pseudo personalities on the Socialist / Communist / Leftist / Democrat side.

So this time lets look at the twitter handles @RATM4 and @MTARRATM. These seem somewhat odd, and both are all caps, also odd. The second is just RATM backwards plus RATM. So they might actually be the same person, just with two handles. Or perhaps a teammate co-conspirator.

 Since google and such search engines can be quite useful, a search for RATM shows that https://www.google.com/search?q=ratm 
RATM is an acronym for the heavy metal band "Rage Against The Machine". So now the all caps makes sense. And since @RATM is the twitter handle for the band, it was already taken. Thus @RATM4 had to be used by the individual mentioned above.

OK, so what is the band "Rage Against The Machine" all about? Reading some of the web pages from the search we find that they are radical, violent, profane in language, anti-Establishment (meaning anti-Capitalist, anti-Western culture, etc),  and appear from the descriptions to be Marxist, Communist, Socialist, etc. in their associations, lyrics, and actions.

My Way or the Highway

Because of several references to posts on this blog on twitter, some time will be spent on some topics recently found there.

And perhaps the most recent are the tweets on who in the Indiana Senate race is, and is not able to work with and compromise with the “other side” of the aisle.

For instance, here is a tweet by @mattcantor:

If we correctly understand the background behind this challenge we can then see how it could be true. The background in question is just what is the nature of the Democrats in Congress?

Donnelly's Abortion Windvane

Most of us have heard at least some of the discussion of "Women's Health Services" [i.e. Abortion etc] in Obamacare. So what does Joe Donnelly have for a position on the topic? As we will see, no one can be sure.

First we must note that Joe Donnelly is a Catholic and graduated from Notre Dame (a Catholic University). And of course, the Catholic Church adamantly opposes abortion, as do Christian denominations in general.

But what does Joe Donnelly think, say, and do so far as abortion goes?

Joe Donnelly says:

1. In keeping with my personal faith and family values, I have consistently opposed abortion and will continue to do so in Congress. I believe that being pro-life means promoting life at every stage, from conception until natural death. I will always vote according to my faith and my conscience on life issues.

and Joe Donnelly "sided" with some other Democrats on a deal to vote for Obamacare, as we know it, given there was to be an Executive order by President Obama:

Joe Donnelly just doesn't seem to get it. His constituents aren't fooled anymore. When a constituent complains of Obamacare using his tax money to fund Health care for illegal aliens, Joe Donnelly says it is not in there.

And the chorus from the group of constituents says he is wrong.

So who is right? Joe Donnelly, who voted for it? Or his constituents who he works for?
 Is Joe Donnelly lying? Is he waffling? OR is he just not as smart and informed as his constituents?

Joe Donnelly recently visited Windstream along with Joe Manchin. Windstream makes wind turbines for the production of electricity. Joe is a strong supporter of wind energy as noted here:

Congressman Joe Donnelly said he thought it was a mistake not to extend the tax credits for wind energy producers.

“I support extending the wind energy tax credit because we need to harness the vast energy resources available to us right here in the U.S., creating jobs for Americans and lessening our dependence on oil imported from Middle East dictators,” Donnelly said in a statement.

Donnelly is a co-sponsor of a separate piece of legislation to extend the wind energy credit through 2019. The intent is to encourage more developments like the one currently in the works for Howard and surrounding counties.

What that means is that Joe Donnelly wants to take your money taken from you by taxation, and give it to others to promote their businesses. Of course,  he thinks he is doing good

But is he? And does the Federal government have the power by the U.S. Constitution?

Donnelly Doublespeaks on Obamacare and Medicare

Ole Joe has been a Representative for nearly six years now, and as we shall see, no more trustworthy now than at the beginning. The Doublespeak goes on.

Take for instance this question from a large crowd at Kokomo, a heavily Union crowd asking stern questions of an errant Representative. One person asks how will Obamacare be paid for. Donnelly responds that it is a "precondition" that Obamacare be "deficit-neutral".

And yet, Obamacare has a huge deficit problem. Worse yet, as we are going broke with overspending, and at a time when the economy is flagging, jobs are hard to find and pay less and less, Obama care is killing business and already pushing up the deficit with projected costs much higher than we were first told. In fact, Joe Donnelly told us it would be deficit-neutral.

2016 the Movie

I attended a late afternoon showing of the movie. I thought the movie was well laid out and planned so that it would cover the various points along the way. And it did develop the topic thoroughly ending and the conclusion of where we could be in 2016 if Obama were to be still in office.

An interesting take given in the movie is to find out what is inside the mind of Barrack Hussein Obama by exploring his entire life and the influences given by his parents, grandparents, mentors, and other influences. With these topics covered, one can easily see where Obama envisions American to be like when he gets done with it. And it is not pretty.
