John Gregg risks injury and life for "Rainy Day"

Yes, John Gregg, an apparent hater of the Constitutionalist Tea Party movement as he ended his part in the debate tonight is a Democrat. These same Democrats that like to regulate the death out of you and me and our businesses. And yet, they don't care to follow their own regulations.

I grew up on a farm back when the safety equipment was minimal on machinery. But safety is really a state of mind, and way of doing things, thinking ahead about the consequences and the costs.

However, the Democrats have been regulation "happy" with all the various programs they get their bureacrats assigned to, such as OSHA.


So here we find John Gregg, with the two boys on the roof with a silly rainy day theme. I Judge the height to be 10 to 11 ft above grade. There only bracing is the existing rod diagonally from the roof to the wall, most likely the original in this old building.

• Was it inspected? Tested? I doubt it.
• Did the two boys have fall restraints as required by OSHA for work over 6 ft high?
• Were the two boys underage? Already this year the Feds tried to deny farm kids the right to work on their own farm due to "safety" concerns. An idea that would have killed Indiana and American family farms. Yet here he is essentially employing the two boys in a risky job.
• Were posts obtained and placed under the roof for re-inforcement while working on the roof in case it gave way? Clearly NO.
• Could bricks have pulled out of the wall releasing the roof to fall? One wonders....

Clearly John Gregg did NOT think ahead about the consequences for this campaign ad. I would not expect he is thinking ahead very well about the consequences of socialist ideas of high taxes, high spending, and redistribution of wealth, etc. that he has in mind. No commonsense in making a "Rainy Day" ad,  and none in how government should run.

And to top it all off, he has called the Tea Party movement "extremist". I know those people; they are farmers, businessmen, retirees, etc. and are in no way extremist. To cap it all off, a caller to WOWO after their debate coverage stated that he was a Democrat, and leaning to Gregg before the debate but having heard Gregg diss his neighbors and friends for being involved with the Tea Party....he has moved Gregg to the bottom of the list. The fact is that Socialism is anti-Constitution and American values, and he has shown his colors now.

Vote for Mike Pence, the best choice.

Fall Arrest
A fall arrest system is required if any risk exists that a worker may fall from an elevated position, as a general rule, the fall arrest system should be used anytime a working height of six feet or more is reached. Working height is the distance from the walking/working surface to a grade or lower level. A fall arrest system will only come into service should a fall occur. A full-body harness with a shock-absorbing lanyard or a retractable lifeline is the only product recommended. A full-body harness distributes the forces throughout the body, and the shock-absorbing lanyard decreases the total fall arresting forces.
